We have been very busy this term since the return from the Easter Holidays.
Initially, we focused quite a bit on our Multicultural Day celebrations. We picked Romania as a result of one of classmates going to Romania over the holidays. We learned about the different animals found in Romania, Count Dracula (and the author from Dublin) and we were even lucky enough to try some traditional Romanian treats. Check them out below.
In cookery we have been focusing on spaghetti (and some have been enjoying sausages with the spaghetti). Everyone had a job from getting the cooking utensils ready to washing up, drying and putting away. Here are some action shots.
Recently we have been talking about the summer and looking at which clothes suit the varied weather we get here so check out the clothesline!
In PE we have been practising team games, waiting our turn, obstacle courses and musical chairs (which has been known to be very competitive).
We have also spent the year piloting the Level 1 Learning Programme in our classroom. This is due to launch at the end of May.
